The WV Youth Environmental Program (YEP) holds an annual Youth Environmental Day and fall Youth Environmental Conference and more!

Visit the WV YEP's website to view the many events and activities available to WV Youth.

The YEP holds an annual Junior Conservation Camp. The event runs annually in June and is open to anyone between the ages of 11 and 14. Make sure to look up the information in April - May to register before spots are gone.

The WV State Conservation Camp, for youth at least 14 years old and not yet 18 years old on the first day of camp, is held in June.

The goal of this camp is to acquaint WV youth with the social and economic values of our natural resources and environment; to create in them a desire to save and defend from waste these resources; and to develop future conservation leaders

There are two resources to learn more about this camp.

  • WV State Conservation Camp website

  • WV Extension website (Youth do not have to be 4-H members to attend Conservation Camp)
