Mountaineer Transfer Station (MTS)
The Mountaineer Transfer Station (MTS), (aka the Dump), is owned and operated by Republic Services. The MTS is where you can take your trash to dispose of it and your recycling to recycle it.

Tire Disposal
Starting June 10, 2023 the City of Morgantown will host the WV DEP monthly tire drop-off program
Who can participate: all WV residents
Location: City of Morgantown Garage - 200 M-Tec Drive (click on the link to see address on the map)
When: Every 2nd Saturday of the month
Hours: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
Residents can dispose of up to ten (10) tires at each event. This program is not open to businesses.
